Airport

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport makes visiting very convenient. More than 80 percent of the U.S. population is within a two-hour flight of Atlanta and with frequent direct flights getting to the city couldn’t be easier. Directions

The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC)  is centrally located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The convention center is easily accessible by car, train, bus or plane and is in walking distance to the 13,000 hotel rooms in Downtown Atlanta.

The GWCC is located in the convention corridor of downtown Atlanta, next to a multitude of restaurants and attractions. The center is easily accessible from both Interstate 20 and the Connector (Interstates 75/85). With Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the Georgia World Congress Center is accessible by 80 percent of the American population in two hours or less. The GWCC campus is served by two MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) stations.

Parking

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority operates six surface lots and two parking decks on campus managed by AAA Parking. There are almost 7,000 parking spaces to make visiting the GWCCA convenient for guests. You may pay by cash or credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard or Diner's Club.)

  • Parking rates are $10 for all-day parking. During Atlanta Falcons games and other major events parking costs $15.
  • Lots are gated with an attendant on duty during all show/event hours.
  • GWCCA Public Safety patrols the lots and decks.
  • Emergency vehicle assistance is available for motorists in distress.
  • The GWCCA offers a Campus Courtesy Shuttle that provides free shuttle service to attendees from parking lots to the facility and back. The shuttle runs on an as needed basis as determined by the event schedule.

    Accessibility- Each parking lot/deck at the GWCC has reserved disabled parking spaces. For events in Building A and B we recommend parking in the Red/International Deck. For events in Building C we recommend parking in the Gold Deck

Public Transportation (MARTA)

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's public transportation system comprised of a bus and rail system that connects all parts of Atlanta. A single $2 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers.
The GWCC is MARTA accessible at two stations.

  • Events in Buildings A and B-use the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1)
  • Events in Building C-use the (W-1) station or the Vine City Station (W-2)

Shuttle Service

There is no shuttle service available.  Most Training 2012 hotels are in walking distance of the Convention Center. 

Taxis

Atlanta has more than 1,500 taxis available to take attendees to and from their hotel throughout Atlanta. With preset rates for trips to and from the airport and within Downtown and Midtown, taxis provide an economical mode of transportation.
