Enhanced Safety Measures in Orlando
We are committed to the health and safety of our guests, teams, and the wider community while we are in Orlando. Training's Operations Directors are working closely with Walt Disney World Operations to ensure we exceed all local and federal safety and hygiene guidelines. Training and Coronado Springs leadership are also working on realistic capacity limits for the sessions/events in Orlando. Log in to print out a confirmation, invoice or use the Session Planner in the Attendee Service Center. If you need to change your registration or person attending, please contact Customer Service at 1.847.620.4483 Ext. 1 or email Customer Service (email@example.com with Training Conference in the subject line).
Badges for Orlando will not be mailed in advance. You will receive an Express Check-In e-mail approximately one week prior to the conference with registration hours and updates. The schedule online will have the most current information about the event.
If you need to cancel your paid registration, your cancellation must be received by January 29, 2021, in writing—either e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to 1-847-277-7414. Cancellations received by January 29, 2021, will be charged a $100 processing fee (you will receive a refund less $100). No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after January 29, 2021. However, for the in-person Orlando events, we are happy to accept substitutions or issue a letter of credit for a future event.
In the unlikely event Training 2021 Conference & Expo is unable to take place in person in Orlando, you will have the option of receiving a letter of credit (for TechLearn 2021 or Training 2022 Conference) OR a pro-rated refund. A pro-rated refund is your Training 2021 Conference & Expo (Orlando + Virtual) registration fee that you paid less the $495 value of the Virtual Conference (Feb. 8-12). If Orlando Certificate Programs or GamiCon are unable to take place in person, they will be transferred to an online format (or you may receive a credit for a future in-person event).
At the conclusion of the Certificate Programs, attendees will receive a certificate of completion from Training magazine.
Training Magazine Events are pre-approved by the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI). You can earn up to 12 CPT points to re-certify as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) with any Training magazine Conference or Certificate Program. Full information on CPT certification can be found at ISPI.
There are automatic Early-Bird discounts on the Full Conference registration when you register by the deadline list on the Fees & Discounts page. Additional organizational discounts on the Full Conference are available for government/military personnel; academic institutions; charitable non-profit organizations; as well as groups of 5 or more from the same organization. Follow this link for details. Discounts are valid only when applied prior to payment (refunds will not be given for discount codes after payment is made). Please note, Training does not use Volunteers at its events.
The conference is business casual. You may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater as room temperatures may vary.
Groups may register online. You will be prompted 'To add additional attendee' on the Review page. A group invoice/receipt will be embedded in the confirmations for each attendee. In order to get an additional group discount on the Training Conference & Expo, all attendees must be from the same company/organization and request a discount code prior to registering. Follow this link for discount information.
You may register online and select "Balance Due," an invoice will be automatically generated. Payments are due in full prior to the start of the event in order for you to receive your badge for the face-to-face event. Group invoices are included as in the confirmations (embedded PDFs) if you entered a group registration. Contact customer service for assistance on invoices.
In Orlando, full Conference and pre-conference registrations (Certificates and GamiCon) include a lunch each day in Orlando.

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) and business checks or money orders (US funds on a US bank). Credit card charges will show under 'Lakewood Media Group.'
If you are submitting a purchase order for your registration, please make sure your accounting/purchasing dept. knows that final payment is due prior to attending a virtual event or receiving your badge onsite by credit card, check, money order or wire transfer. For International Attendees who wish to pay by Wire Transfer, please contact Customer Service. You may also pay on site by cash, check, money order or credit card.
Payment by Check: Make checks payable to Lakewood Media Group and mail with your registration form. If you pre-registered online or are paying an invoice, please place each attendee's name on the remittance portion of your payment.

We accept purchase orders as a guarantee for payment, but final payment by check or credit card required prior to the start of the Training Conference to receive your badge. (You may pay on site including paying in cash in US Dollars.) Purchase orders stating payment will be made after Training Conference & Expo will not be accepted.
If you require special services need (food allergy, accessibility need), please indicate it on the space provided on the online registration form prior to February 5, 2021. If you've mailed or faxed in a registration form, please contact Customer Service.
Substitution/Transfer requests must be done through Customer Service (please email or call them at the number at the top of this page). You may also make a substitution in Orlando. Please alert the Registration staff at the time of check-in about the change so they can update the registration and output your badge. See the Cancellation Policy near the top of the page.
We do not use volunteers at the Training Conference & Expo. Please inquire for discounts.
