Registration FAQs

Registration Customer Service Phone: 1.847.620.4483 Ext. 1 (9 am to 6 pm, Monday-Friday; Eastern time).  Email:  Customer Service (subject: Training Conference). Emails are checked throughout the day. If you don't see a reply within 24 hours, please check your bulk mail for a reply from customer service or show management.

Attendee Service Center

Log in to print out a confirmation or invoice  in the Attendee Service Center.  If you need to change your registration or person attending, please contact Customer Service at 1.847.620.4483 Ext. 1 or email Customer Service (registration@goeshow.com with Training Conference in the subject line). Customer service is open Monday - Friday, 9am to 6 pm Eastern time and responds throughout the day (we recommend checking your bulk mail too).
 

Badges

Badges will not be mailed in advance. You will receive an Express Check-In e-mail approximately one week prior to the conference with registration hours and updates. The schedule online will be the most current information about the event.


Cancellation/Refund Policies

Should you need to cancel your registration after making payment, you may transfer your registration to another person at any time before the show. If you are not able to make a substitution:

  • Cancellations received by January 20, 2023, will be assessed a $100 handling/processing fee and the balance of your registration fee will be refunded within 30 days.
  • For cancellations received after January 20, 2023, no refunds will be given. However, you may request a credit to apply to a future Training Conference or TechLearn Conference registration.


Certificates of Completion

At the conclusion of the Certificate Programs, attendees will receive a certificate of completion from Training magazine.


CPT Points

Training Magazine Events are pre-approved by the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI). You can earn up to 12 CPT points to re-certify as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) with any Training magazine Conference or Certificate Program.  Full information on CPT certification can be found at ISPI.
 

CPTD and APTD Recertification and Initial Eligibility

Training Magazine Certificates have been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. Discounts (Organizational)

Discounts are available on the 3-Day Conference for the following: government/military personnel; academic institutions; charitable non-profit organizations; as well as groups of 3 or more from the same organization. Learn more here.

These organizational discounts are only valid on the 3-Day Conference. Only ONE discount code per attendee; discount codes may not be combined. Discounts are valid only when applied prior to payment (refunds will not be given for discount codes after payment is made).

Please note, Training does not use Volunteers at its events.


Dress Code

The conference is business casual. You may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater as room temperatures may vary. Masks are optional for the event. Please respect that wearing of masks is a personal choice.
 

Group Registrations

Groups may register online. You will be prompted 'To add additional attendee' on the Review page. A group invoice/receipt will be embedded in the confirmations for each attendee. In order to get a group discount on the Training Conference & Expo, all attendees must be from the same company/organization and use a discount code at the time of registration. Invoices

You may register online and select "Balance Due," an invoice will be automatically generated. Corporate checks, money orders, and wire transfers must be received by Tuesday, January 31. See Payment Methods below.

Group invoices are included as in the confirmations (embedded PDFs) if you entered a group registration. Contact customer service for assistance on invoices.
 

Lunch

3-Day Conference registrations include a lunch each day. Lunch is also included daily with Certificate Programs and Learning Leadership Summit. For receptions or other inclusions, visit the specific schedules and website pages.


Mailing List Removal

If you would like to be removed from the mailing or email list, please send your request to Show Management. Click here.


Payment Methods

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover)  and corporate checks or money orders (US funds on a US bank).  Credit card charges will show under 'Lakewood Media Group.'

If you are submitting a purchase order for your registration, please make sure your accounting/purchasing dept. knows that final payment is due prior to receiving your badge on site by credit card, corporate check or money order.  For International Attendees who need to pay by Wire Transfer, please contact Show Management

Payment by Check:  Make checks payable to Lakewood Media Group and mail with your registration form.  If you pre-registered online or are paying an invoice, please place each attendee's name on the remittance portion of your payment.  Checks are due by Tuesday, January 31, or you may pay on site at registration in Orlando.

Press Passes for the Conference

Press must email their credentials to Show Management for review. Press passes are reserved for full-time journalists and must be received at least one month prior to the Conference. Passes are valid for the 3-Day Conference & Expo. Certificate programs and co-located events require an additional fee.


Purchase Orders

We accept purchase orders as a guarantee for payment, but final payment by check or credit card required prior to the start of the Training Conference to receive your badge. (You may pay on site including paying in cash in US Dollars.) Purchase orders stating payment will be made after Training Conference & Expo will not be accepted.


Safety Protocols

Masks are optional for the event. Please respect that wearing of masks is a personal choice.

Special Meals/Services/Assistance

If you require special services/assistance at TechLearn Conference, please answer the questions on the registration form or e-mail Conference ManagementIn order for us to accommodate your special need, please submit your request by the following dates:

Access to Sessions (e.g. wheelchair, hearing-impairment): Friday, January 20
Special Meal Need (due to dietary restrictions/allergies):  Friday, January 20


Transferring Registrations (Substitutions)

A transfer of a registration must be done through Customer Service (please click to email or call them at the number at the top of this page). You may also make a substitution on site. Please alert the Registration staff at the time of check-in about the change so they can update the registration and  badge. See the Cancellation Policy near the top of the page.
 

Volunteers

We do not use volunteers at the Training Conference & Expo. Please inquire for discounts.
